Andrew Hupert has spent the past six years as an independent management consultant, writer and lecturer in Shanghai, working with both local and multinational corporations on improving their sales, presentation and negotiation skills. Andrew specializes in international negotiation and value-added selling techniques. He also regularly lectures on sales, marketing, management and finance topics at various Shanghai business schools, and is an adjunct professor at New York University's Shanghai campus (in partnership with East China Normal University).

Andrew first came to Asia in 1990 after receiving his MBA in International Finance from New York University Stern School of Management. Before completing the MBA, Andrew attained a BA in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Northwestern University . He gained extensive senior sales and management experience in Taipei, Hong Kong, Kyoto and New York with leading financial institutions such as WI Carr (later Banque IndoSuez) and Bank Paribas -- with a specialty in Greater China markets. In 2001 he set up full time as an independent consultant and lecturer in Shanghai.
